Shotguns are one of the most popular weapons for home defense. Proper training with a shotgun is essential to be safe and effective. This class prepares students to safely store, operate, and deploy a shotgun for home defense. We will also cover ammunition selection, cleaning, and how to maintain a system for defense. Drills will include some movement shooting from cover and multiple targets as well as our Action Target Mover. Class Limited to 12 students.
The course will cover the fundamentals of shotgun deployment in a defensive situation. Loaner shotguns are available.

Equipment Needed
Shotgun- Pump/ Semi-Auto
Sling
150 Rounds of Skeet for Shotgun. 50 Buckshot and 30 Slugs. Pants with belt loops and sturdy belt.
Duty handgun with holster if you have. Transitions will be taught.
Appropriate range attire including safety gear and good footwear for movement. NO FLIPFLOPS, SANDLES
